THE LA VIVE STUDIOS STORY
1985: LA VIVE CLASSIQUE ACADEMY OF DANCE WAS BORN
La Vive Classique Academy of Dance was born in 1985 when Elizabeth Galloway, driven by her passion for dance and a desire to bring quality training to her hometown region, established the studio. Initially founded in response to the lack of ballet and dance classes in Wauchope and Laurieton, Elizabeth's dedication and the support of local parents laid the foundation for what would become a thriving hub for performing arts education.
Over the years, under Elizabeth's guidance, La Vive flourished. In 1995, the Hastings Dance Centre was opened in Port Macquarie, boasting purpose-built facilities and specialised flooring to cater to the needs of dancers. With another branch operating in Lake Cathie, the studio became synonymous with excellence in dance training on the Mid North Coast.

Elizabeth's commitment to her craft extended beyond the studio walls. She pursued further education, earning a Diploma of Dance and continually updating her skills through workshops and conferences. Her nurturing approach to teaching ensured that students of all abilities found a place to grow, whether aspiring for a professional career or seeking fun and fitness.
Throughout the years, La Vive became more than just a dance school. It became a pillar of the community, participating in local events and producing full-length ballets like "The Nutcracker," showcasing the talents of its students and guest artists.
2020: A NEW ERA WITH LIZ SEIGER
